Clinical Supervision

"The supervisor was very flexible and able to meet around my schedule. [This] Supervisor educated me not only from a clinical perspective but also on the process of creating a private practice. The supervisor was also very clear about confidentiality and ethics."

-LMS, a newly licensed LPC in Connecticut

Peer Supervision

Talk is cheap, except when you're sitting around a table with peers, colleagues and like-minded individuals discussing best practices for the communities you serve, eating healthy (and not-so-healthy) snacks, complimenting AND complementing each other's professional growth. This group will run perpetually.

An approved continuing education certificate (certified by Maryland's Board of Professional Counselors & Therapists) will be presented to those in attendance after six group hours for 6-CEU hours on professional development/practice management. Board-approved topics include: identifying your audience; "is private practice for me?"; social justice competencies; marketing; networking; ethics and, more!

Copy of PoundCake & Private Practice: 5 Things I Learned During My First Year included or bring your own copy if purchased. All licensure levels welcome.
